"to carry our cross as He did"

Christ also suffered for us, leaving you an example that you should follow his steps.  ~1 Peter 2:21

Let us ask, not to be exempt from suffering, but to be enlightened as to its value. "Lord, that I may see!" As soon as the blind man recovered his sight, he immediately followed Jesus, "glorifying God!"
